He has done his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad. He has been trained at prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

Being trained at high volume centre, he is experienced in performing various diagnostic as well as therapeutic procedures including UGI endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Cholangioscopy, Manometry, pH study and capsule endoscopy.
